  9. Destination Infinity · May 26, 2014

I liked the first one (the 3D effect is cool) and stories in a cup of tea. So, how long does a sketch take approx?

    • kismitoffeebar · May 27, 2014

ha ha that is the coverpage of the sketchbook – the Eiffel tower one I mean. Rest are my sketches. Thanks DI!
Thye take 10 – 15 minutes max. But the castle one took me 30 mins or so owing to the shading.

  17. Sharath Komarraju · June 24, 2014

My first visit here (came through some random clicks on Destination Infinity’s blog), and I love the sketches. Especially the castle. And the idea behind ‘stories in a cup of tea’. I am an author but I don’t drink tea. Do you recommend the habit? Does it help in making you more creative?

You must blog more, and please share some more of your sketches.

    • kismitoffeebar · July 3, 2014

      Hi Sharath!

A warm welcome. Thank you for such kind words. Encouragement always boosts my morale and keeps my passion for creative arts alive πŸ™‚ I will blog more and share more of my journeys here!
I am not sure if drinking tea makes you creative. But surely, sharing a cup of tea with someone does give you lots of stories to write about. Many a stories in my life come from coffee and tea sessions. Also, tea lovers may tell you that it gets your creative juices flowing. They maybe right πŸ™‚

  18. Sharath Komarraju · July 3, 2014

Ah, yes, of course. Tea and coffee are integral parts of gossip sessions, no? Now I know why I am forever out of the loop and the last person to catch on.

Do you do sketches based on topics? Would you be interested in doing a collaborative blog where someone (I, maybe?) does the writing and you do the sketching? If you click on my name at the header of this comment, it will take you to my blog, and I am always looking for guest posters with whom I can collaborate. Maybe have a look at the topics I generally write about and see if they interest you?

Even if they don’t, if we can come up with a concept for which I do the writing and you do the sketching, we can always implement. If that sounds like fun, email me (sharathckomarraju@gmail.com) and we’ll discuss further.

    • kismitoffeebar · July 3, 2014

      Hi Sharath!

Thank you for that vote of confidence. Sounds very exciting. I will email you for details πŸ™‚ Reading your blog right away πŸ™‚

      • Sharath Komarraju · July 3, 2014

Excellent. I will look forward to hearing from you.
