Challenge 3

Looks like 2012 will see me read just the way I have always wanted to and with a purpose. I haven’t ever read jodi picoult and so this challenge got me excited. I get to be part of a challenge (to appease the “me”), read a new author (new to me) and well, have some good fun ! πŸ™‚

Now, who’d say no?

Go on, take this up if it excites you πŸ™‚

Good luck to you with the challenge!

I gave up reading for challenges a couple of years ago, as I felt it was putting too much pressure on me. I love the free flow of my reading now. However, challenges are sometimes good in the sense that they make you read what you would normally not read. It gives you an added impetus. πŸ™‚ And it is fun discussing the books with other people from the challenge group. πŸ™‚

      Hey πŸ™‚

Thankee for the wishes and I so agree with everything.
Am sure you are more experienced by now. This is a new concept and let me see what I get out of it πŸ™‚

Hopefully will make new friends as well πŸ™‚ And I get to read JP πŸ™‚

Thank you for posting this! You only need to read one book by this author for this challenge. (My goal, though, was to read three books by this author, in addition to a book I read previously.)

Please add your link when you’ve posted a review. Thanks again for joining. πŸ™‚

I agree with TGND. Reading (at least for me), is a luxury these days…and even if I do, it must happen at my pace – I like to savor the pages..slow ‘n steady.

There was a time tho’ when I used to devor books (school/college). But still, I cannot imagine doing it like a race…it’s very amusing, to say the least. How can you enjoy anything with a deadline hanging on your head like a Damocles sword? Isn’t it contradictory to the very process of reading a book, to enjoy it? Well, anyway – this is just my crazy opinion, I guess.

    Have fun!! πŸ™‚

I agree with whatever you have said. But when I take up a challenge, I still do it at my pace. I don’t think I’d compromise on my reading for it πŸ™‚
However, this reading challenge is a very new concept to me and makes look forward to reading new authors and doing it in different ways πŸ™‚ So let me see if I get comfy with it πŸ™‚

But yes, having said that, I am nodding my ead vigorously at what you said πŸ™‚
